SPECIALIST SERVICES / INCONTROL

Comfort is an engineering decision.

Plant, zones and room controls designed to work together sensibly.

OUR TECHNICAL SCOPE

Heating, cooling & HVAC controls
considered properly.

Heating and cooling perform best when their controls reflect how rooms are occupied, how systems are installed and how people actually use the building.

InControl brings mechanical and electrical knowledge into climate control projects, including heating zones, underfloor heating, radiators, air-conditioning and interfaces with wider intelligent-building systems.

Rick holds F-Gas Cat. 1 qualifications and is registered with Refcom. Our focus is sound system design, sensible control strategies and careful commissioning rather than chasing features for their own sake.

Understand the building and heat sources

Underfloor heating, radiators, air conditioning and domestic hot-water systems can all have different response times and controls. Good design begins with the building, the distribution system and how rooms are occupied, rather than applying one schedule indiscriminately.

Controls must match the plant

Plant operation, zone valves, temperature sensing, manufacturer controls and operating limits all matter. An attractive touchscreen should never compromise the equipment’s essential protections or normal service operation. We prioritise practical, maintainable integration.

Heating and cooling can coexist

Where heating and air conditioning share a property, coordination helps avoid conflicting demands and confusing controls. We can consider room-by-room operation, schedules and the interface used by the occupants while recognising that the underlying systems may have very different engineering requirements.

A clear way to control every zone

People need predictable temperature settings, sensible schedules and simple overrides. Behind that interface, the integration must respect the plant’s safety controls and operating requirements.
