SPECIALIST SERVICES / INCONTROL

Security without compromise.

CCTV, alarms and reliable systems planned around real premises and needs.

OUR TECHNICAL SCOPE

Security & surveillance
considered properly.

Security works best when the coverage, usability and infrastructure have been considered together, rather than simply adding more devices.

We work with CCTV, intruder-alarm and connected security requirements for homes and commercial spaces. Camera positioning, recording arrangements, network design, notification management and maintenance access are all part of the conversation.

Where appropriate, security can be integrated into a wider building-control arrangement while keeping critical functions dependable and straightforward to operate.

Start with realistic risks

A system for a family home is not the same as one for a business with controlled areas, deliveries and staff access. Camera positions, lighting, entrances, recording requirements and day-to-day responsibilities all need thinking through before deciding how many devices to install.

Useful footage and usable alerts

Coverage is not just a question of putting a camera on every corner. Height, lens choice, backlighting, movement and recording settings influence whether footage is helpful. Notification rules should be meaningful; a system that constantly creates false alarms soon stops being useful.

Integration and responsible access

CCTV, intruder alarms, networking and automation may interact, but they must remain understandable and securely administered. We consider connectivity, power, privacy and who needs access to which functions, as well as the practicalities of service and maintenance.

The system needs to be usable

Camera coverage, alarms and entry controls should give clear, proportionate information to the people who need it. We think about how the system is accessed, monitored, maintained and operated in everyday use.
